Post subject:  1979 cr250 Steering stem bearing

Dear All
can anyone let me know the bearing part no for the above.
if possible not the honda part no but the actual details of the old bearings as I need to see if they will fit a 1979 cr125 frame headstock with Fox Factory Forx. I do not have a stem at present will the 125 stem fit or do I need the 79 cr250????
hope I have got my point across there and thanks in advance

The 1979 CR125R and the CR250R share many parts in this area. The upper and lower bearings are part # 91015-371-XXX. The CR152R is -000, the CR250R is -009. I strongly suspect that these would be the same size bearing. http://www.cmsnl.com has these at EURO 3.5 a pop. They share an upper grease holder 53223-430-000 (out of stock) and a lower dust seal 53214-430-003 (Euro 3.50). The grease holder is not a must have part. The steerer is more tricky. It comes with the triple clamps and these have different part # but that may be (only) because the clamps were for different sized fork tubes (right?). So a 125/250 steerer swap may be possible.
