Can anyone answer the following please? I am rebuilding a 1976 CR125M which has a new 14 tooth chain sprocket on the engine. My query is what size rear sprocket to buy? What are the differences to performance if I was to buy either say a 51 tooth or a 55 tooth sprocket? Any help gratefully received. |

Try plugging in your specific values in this calculator and see what you get. It looks like its used mostly for road bikes, but the princples are the same. Gear ratios are gear ratios. Your bike probably isn't in the presets so you'll have to manually enter your data. http://www.xs4all.nl/~ator0437/gc/ |
