 Post subject: CR500 clutch basket

Can anyone tell me what changed between the '84 CR500 and '85 CR500 clutch baskets.

They use the same clutch plate kits but baskets have different part numbers .

I want to fit a 'revlok" or 'Rekluse" auto clutch which is not available for the '84 model.

Could the later basket fit the earlier gear??
