I have a 1979 cr125 engine that has a one inch crack in the right case on the top part of the swingarm bolt hole. the crack is hairline. can this type of metal (aluminum) be properly welded? if so should i lay a weld bead all the way across to the other case halve for added strength? thanks for any replies
