I had the same issue with mine, (75 elsi 250).. I've bought two pullers and they both don't work. The issue with mine is that the crankshaft end sticks out past the rotor. Called AMS and was told they don't make a puller for my bike, so the first time I used a "3 finger" puller.. Put pressure on it, heated up the rotar and it poped. . Now I have made a puller.. I took a bolt (size that screws into the rotor, drilled a hole through it, tapped for a bolt (8mm I think), then countersunk the other end so it would screw into the rotor and go over the crank. Back the 8mm bolt off, screw the big bolt into the rotor, then tighten the smaller bolt (pushes on the crank end), and it will pop off.. |
