Ladies and Gents, I purchased a NOS ignition coil, part number 30500-KA4-000 or 003 (has been written over) which was supposed to be for a 78/79 CR 250 R. Problem is the mounts on the coil dont match up with the holes/mounts on the frame. Is this the correct coil or can anyone tell me what it should be for? Thanks |

The middle designator KA4 is used on the '83 CR250R. I looked the number up for the '83 coil and it lists it as 30500-KA4-710 which replaces 30500-KA4-003. I'll bet you this coil is for an '83 CR250R. The '78-'79 Coil part number is 30500-360-003 and the '80 Coil part number is 30500-467-000. |
