I have a couple of different cases ( ex. a left from one motor and a right from another) for CR250M's. What is the deal on unmatched cases. Can you use them with one another?? If not is their a procedure so you can?? thanks |

Interesting question- I looked up parts listings to 1979, CR 250 cases come in pairs. MR 250 you could buy either side, other small Hondas (4 cycle) could buy either side also. MR175 and CR125 in pairs only. On use I guess it depends how your going to use it, race or trail ride. |

anyone have experience with this ??? Does it require machining the surfaces a bit?? |

If you do any machining of the case halfs you will tighten up the clearances on everything.If it was me I would take a piece of thick glass,some 400 wet&dry paper and clean up the halfs and use them, are you racing or just riding? |
