I'm wanting to repaint my '73 CR250 engine cases along with the top end and was wondering if anyone has suggestions on the paint. I've seen paint offered from PJ1 and other makers and wondering if this would work to match the original style. Thanks |

I have used PJ1 Satin Black engine & case paint. Very happy with the results but I have not run my MR that hard to see how it holds up. It's a very thin paint, easy to run tho- |

VHT make a satin black barrel paint which is chemical, chip and heat resistant which is pretty good gear! cheers Rossco |

I think VHT make an etch primer as well - if not correct then just a standard etch primer - the temperature isn't too high to worry the paint I have found? |
