hi
can anyone tell me what parts of a mt250 will fit my 1973 cr250.i am rebilding a 1973 cr250 from wheels up it was left outside for at least 20 years in austin tx now lives in sydney australia

The MT250 cylinder and head will bolt on the 73 CR250. The MT intake is two bolt so you are limited to the stock intake and the 28mm Keihin that came on the MT250. The clutch cover and kick starter mech are the same. The rod is the same but not the crank halfs. The clutch will work if you use the crank gear from the MT250 with it. I think the shift shaft is the same. The CR250 down pipe may work if you use the exhaust manifold from the CR250 cylinder. Third gear in the tranny is the same but just the one gear. All others are different ratios.
