New guy here with a quick question.... I just picked up this '79 Elsinore Hillclimber with RD350 engine. 
I am confused about the front forks? Are these just stock CR250 forks with Mugen Decals?? or are these indeed Mugens? Ive never owned an early CR before so I dont know what the standard front end is supposed to look like?? Here are a couple of pics of the fork lowers. 
any information would be greatly appreciated. thank you. |

They look consistent with stock forks from the 1978 model. It is not a 1978 hub, probably a 1982 or 1983. Need to see a photo of the brake arm. |
