I had to remove petcock (which was working perfectly) to have my 1974 MT250's tank restored. Now that the tank is done I'm about to reinstall petcock. I'm going to replace any gaskets that crumbled when it was taken off but what I'd like to know is, are there any Pro Tips for reinstalling to insure a leak-free tank? Coat the bolts, gaskets that hold it to the tank with something? Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks!
