Post subject:  Honda MR250 Front Fork Disassembly

I have a dilemma in disassembling my front forks on my 1976 MR250 to replace the seals.
The first one came apart fine as shown in the one picture, but when trying to remove the 6mm hex head capscrew from the bottom of the second one, it will not disengage from the internal bottom pipe that it is thread up into. The screw just turns either way in the front fork bottom case because there is no way to keep this internal bottom pipe from turning and it is just turning internally along with the capscrew.
Frankly, I don't understand how Honda expects one to tighten or loosen this capscrew 100% successfully in the first place without some way for the internal pipe to stay fixed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated - I am dead in the water right now.
(pics are attached of my disassembly and shop manual information)

Put the spring back in and the fork cap or apply pressure some other way . Then use an impact gun
