I have an engine case that is marked JE01E no numbers below it. I think that means it is 125cc. The clutch arm is on the right side and comes out of the BOTTOM of the engine. I have never seen a clutch set up this way. Can anyone tell me what year this engine might be? Thanks. |

All the '79 to '82 CR125R's have the JE01E markings, the way to ID what year of bikes it's for is by the SN#; 20XXXXX -'79, 21XXXXX -'80, 22XXXXX -'81. |

It has NEVER been assembled. My only other question is, will it will work for all CR125s 79-82? Or were there differences? |

Mike, Starting in '81 the CR went to water cooling so that will probably rule out the use of these cases on those model years. Nathan |
