Are there any differences in the axles for these two years?? My bike is a 78 but I have 79 forks ( with the 4 bolt cover)I want to use. thanks |

The 1978 and 1979-1980 axles are different parts, however for practical purposes I think they are interchangeable, particularly if you are using the older axle with the newer clamping method... |
