I have one on my 1979 CR250R and I have used them on other bikes. They are not prone to seizing providing you remember to drill three small holes in the piston opposite the exhaust port bridge. The instructions come with Wiseco pistons. The other thing to look out for is a mis-match between the ports in the cylinder and the ports in the sleeve. If they are not perfectly aligned, this will affect performance but not cause a seizure. A good shop that fits these sleeves should take care of that for you...
