Post subject:  footpegs

My MR250 footpegs are worn smooth. I see new, wider and sharper footpegs in stores for ridiculous prices, but I remember reading that modifications have to be made for them to work on the old elsinores.
The attachment point kind of looks the same as my pegs, but I've never measured the width or depth or anything.
Does anything really need to be modified to put new footpegs on?? If so, what needs to be done?

Works Connection does weld-on pieces that will make the pegs larger and of course sharper...

It's actually the sharper I care about more than wider. Be nice to have them a little wider on the backside, but not the front. Mine are like putting boots on butter.

Well you can always take a grinder to the existing pegs assuming there is a reasonable amount of metal left. I've done both approaches....
