How similar is the 73 and 74 CR 250's. Are all parts and specs similar. |

The first boatload had some tranny problems and cracking in the frame where the swingarm bolts in. They also had a billet crank so had more lower end compression and moved the charge into the cylinder faster. Not to many of these were produced. Couple hundred I think and only a rare few left. The next shipment had a bit of reinforcement on the frame around the hole where the swingarm pivot bolt goes through. I think they changed the tempering of some of the gears also. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.) The parts seem to be all interchangeable. Loren |
