How similar is the 73 and 74 CR 250's. Are all parts and specs similar.

The first boatload had some tranny problems and cracking in the frame where the swingarm bolts in. They also had a billet crank so had more lower end compression and moved the charge into the cylinder faster. Not to many of these were produced. Couple hundred I think and only a rare few left.

The next shipment had a bit of reinforcement on the frame around the hole where the swingarm pivot bolt goes through. I think they changed the tempering of some of the gears also. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.)

The parts seem to be all interchangeable.
