i am looking for the top ones that replace the boots. also would like the bottom protectors for my 81' 450 the ones that were on DC were for a 82-83 lowers which are to tall any help on this? |

I run both DC Plastic fork protectors and Daystar fork boots on my 43mm Showa forks. The protectors need to be cut to size with a hacksaw and then the edges cleaned up with a file. The fork boots need to be sized to fit 41mm forks and 13" in length. They are in the Parts Unlimited catalog at your local dealer. I think you want black for the '81 although they do a nice bright blue for the '83 color scheme. |
