Where can I get a reed valve set up for my 74 CR250M? Has anyone tried a roost bottle on one of these bikes and are they ahrma legal? Thanks Terry |

a Gem reed valve setup is period correct but rare to find - you also need to modify the piston and barrel to match. Best of luck looking for one. Actually while I think of it a friend of mine had another type of reed valve that is supposed to fit - PM me and I will send you his email address? regards Rossco |

Boost bottles are not AHRMA legal. Reeds are legal in Age and Sportsman classes. I had a Kleem reed setup on mine for a little while but then went and built my own from a couple billets of aluminum and a buddys vertical mill. |

mossbarger still make one it fits straight on no need for piston mod and it stops the bogging down or running on and gives good bottom end power |
