HI,
is there any information available to improve the front fork action on the '75 CR250M1 forks.

A friend advised Al Baker supplied damper rod modifications to increase travel and improve action...however I receive no reply to my emails to Al Baker.

Bike will be used for Vintage MX racing and fork action is rather poor .
THe forks have been stripped and cleaned, new seals and 10wt oil initially used....the oil was then changed to 20wt but action remains rather crude.

There are a few other things you may try.
1. A .500 specer on top of the springs.
2. Air caps.

Also, I think Al Baker passed away a few years ago.

Regards,

Dan
