I'm now on the hunt for a new MR175 piston, and I know they are pretty scarce, so I've been looking through the Wiseco catalog, and have found the KDX175 and KDX200s both have a 66mm std bore and 16mm pin like the MR175, so if the deck height is good and the rings are pinned in the right location, a first over would be s shoe in. Has anyone checked this out before? It'll save me a trip to the wrecker to turn up a used one to compare with. Thx Hans |

the kdx185 and 200 are reed valved and have holes on the intake side for the reed valve to work.it will not work on the piston port mr175. |

I hear ya, but look at this piston from ebay, I think it a photo of the actual piston. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Kawasaki ... dZViewItem It doesn't look like there are any holes, but the skirt length might be a problem. Thx Hans |

Piston height is incorrect. Too short. |
