Does anyone know where I could purchase a set of side panel brackets for my 1980 CR250? I recently broke one in an accident and could probably have it welded back together but thought I would see if there are replacements available. I have already looked in the obvious places.

Thanks,

Clint

Did you try VMX Racing? They bought the rights to make the Red Racer stuff, including their after-market brackets. I sent them an email asking if they have, or will have them.

I am still waiting for a reply to my inquiry. I have sent them a picture of the Red Racer ones...

I am in the process of making my own 1980 CR250 side panel mounting brackets.
I have not drilled the rivet holes yet or put on a coat of red paint yet, but you'll get the idea from the photos in my gallery.
Sorry for posting the link to the gallery instead of posting the photos themselves, but F150-online.com won't allow posting of links to photos.
At any rate, have a look if you feel inclined.

Well, thanks for trying everyone. I ended up getting it welded back together. Then, I fell again and broke the other side - got that one welded as well.

I think I'll just stop falling.
