I'm now on the hunt for a new MR175 piston, and I know they are pretty scarce, so I've been looking through the Wiseco catalog, and have found the KDX175 and KDX200s both have a 66mm std bore and 16mm pin like the MR175, so if the deck height is good and the rings are pinned in the right location, a first over would be s shoe in.

Has anyone checked this out before? It'll save me a trip to the wrecker to turn up a used one to compare with.

Thx
Hans

the kdx185 and 200 are reed valved and have holes on the intake side for the reed valve to work.it will not work on the piston port mr175.

I hear ya, but look at this piston from ebay, I think it a photo of the actual piston.

It doesn't look like there are any holes, but the skirt length might be a problem.

Thx

Piston height is incorrect. Too short.
