ive got a 79 elsinore cr250, picked it up for free, problem is the piston blew, is theyre anywhere i can get a new chrome sleeve for cheaper?, honda dealer here said around $500 ?

Sleeving is only one solution. Another option is to have the cylinder bored to cleanup to the next closest oversize and have the bore plated with Nikasil or, chrome if you like. You're looking at about $250 for the Nikasil remedy with no port aligment hassle. You can use chrome or, iron rings with a Nikasil bore.
