I want to chase out the threds on the side number plate bolt holes, seat bolt holes and right side footpeg bolt hole on my 74 CR250M. Does anyone know what size/thredad metric taps I need to use for each of these? Thanks, Mike

I took the matching bolts to the hardware store with me and had them match them.

Side number plate are 6X1.0, seat are 8X1.25. These are the sizes you need for the locations. Might be able to get the peg later..

Thanks for the info.

I know the footpeg bolt is a 10mm but I don't know the thread and I don't have the bolt to match it to a tap.
