I have a question as to the difference in rear sprockets from the 73/74 models to the 75/76 years. The hubs appear to be the same, but the sprockets are flat on the 73/74 and dished on the 75/76. Does anyone know if a dished sprocket can be used on a 73/74?

Thanks

Don't know why you'd want to unless you already have one. They are hard to find,an MR250 uses the dished one also.Honda moved the engines to try to help the turning, then needed to use a dished sprocket to line the chain run back up.If you could even fit one your alignment would be way off. Some sprocket companies made an adapter so you could use a flat sprocket on a later bike, you had a greater choice of sprocket sizes.I have not seen one in a long time,I think Sprocket Specialities made one.
