I was looking at the manuals section under 74 CR250 and found that 145cc of fork oil is required to refill the forks.

The manual I use for my 83 CR480 tells me that I can measure from the top/inside of the forks to the top level of the oil.

Does anyone use this method to top off the fork oil or make adjustments to the level?
If so, what measurement are you using?

Thanks,

Yes, but it just makes sense to pour the measured amount in. I think it works out to around 5 - 6 inches (forks collapsed). Doesn't your more modern manual give some cc measurement too?
