I'm looking at buying a 1981 CR80 for $200us cosmetically the bike is in ok condition The bike has good compression with good spark but its won't start? I need some advice as to what other parts of this bike i should be looking over and what to look for? Your help is greatly appreciated Thanks |

Have you tried squirting some mix into the open carb? If it fires and runs briefly then the timing is probably right and the carb has a problem like stuck floats or blockage. If it doesn't fire and run, then it could be a broken flywheel key throwing the timing off. Rick |
