Hi I just purchased a 1976 cr 125! However, I can't figure out how much gear oil to put in it. Through some research at the local dealer I found out there is a screw that when removed the added oil will spill out when the desired level is reached? What happened is after I drained the oil the first time and then removed the screw, oil came out???? put everything back together and the next night I tried again and more oil came out the bottom drain. So then when that stopped I tried adding the new oil and took the little screw out and it took about one cup of oil. Back to the dealer I went and this mech. said it should hold just less than one quart. So my question is, "How much oil will this thing hold???????" Should I ignore this little screw hole and just add one quart?? thank you for the help! Lindsey |

According to the owners manuel it's 1.1 US qt. |
