| Post subject: | Turbo throttle on CR250M |
Anyone used a Motion Pro Turbo throttle (Gunnar Gasser replica) on a 74 CR250M with an aftermarket Mikuni 36mm? I bought the suggested cable (01-0249) in the Parts Unlimited catalog and the inner cable is too short. I've tried taking the nut off the adjuster on both ends and still no luck. The cable hooks into the bottom of the slide with a plate to keep the needle and cable in place. Outer housing is 42.2" and cable is 51". I sent an email to Motion Pro, but have not heard back yet. Any suggestions? |

Go to Terry Cable (http://www.terrycable.com) and tell them the type of throttle, bike, and carb and they'll make one to fit....I use a Motion Pro "Gunnar Gasser" and Mikuni VM36 on a 1979 CR250R. |
