Hey all. I have an 83 CR-80 with DG exhaust and flat slide Mikuni. I have had the carb apart so many times I need to put a zipper on it. Checked the rubber intake for leaks. Good fuel delivery too. Just acts like its starving for fuel. Won,t run at all with choke off.Sometimes it just takes off for awhile and scares the he** out of you and then it acts up again. any thoughts? Thanks-Jeff |

Assuming all the jetting is correct,the float level is correct and all the fuel circuits are clear I'd be looking at a crankseal airleak. I'd either do or get a leak down check done alternativly I'd just replace the seals and try it. |
