Does anyone have a spare new airbox to carb airboot that you'd like to sell? Or, do you know of anyone who carries these so I could try to buy one? Vintage Iron is regretably out of them until they work through a supplier issue. This is the one part remaining to finish bringing the bike to life.
Thanks, Jon

For my racer I used a stepped turbo hose that was 2.75" by 2.5". I cut it at an angle at the airbox end and it worked fine. I bought one from eBay for my resto to keep it like stock.

I couldn't find a stepped hose like that turbo hose locally, so eventually I found myself at a truck -big rig - parts store. I bought 5 inches of straight 2 1/2 inch coolant hose. Cutting the air box end of the hose at the necessary angle allowed me to slip the hose over the airbox flange just fine. That angle cut actually makes the hole entry diameter larger to enable it to go on the 2 3/4 inch flange. The fit of this set up is every bit as good as the stocker.

Hey, though I did mean to say thanks for planting the seed that got me to the solution. Thanks!
