Vintage Dirt Bike Q & A

Hi have another ?, I am very aware of the cr 450 being a death trap with the poor handling and barely there brakes, is there any easily reversable mods to improve things?raise the stanchions in the trees? different shock,forks or combination of fork spring/oil??

I know its a rare bike and motocrossers are every bit as worthy as any machine for being preserved,and Honda's first open class moto should be one of those you save.....but I would like to more confidently ride it.

My yamaha twin two strokers or my kawi triple project all are/will become hooligan/cafe/street rods, being plentiful a guy can hack away with no guilt.but I would hate to bitch up an old elsinore as they are the coolest freaking dirtbike in the world IMHO
