In what years is the rear disc brake on the left side?

Trick question? I think rear disk brakes were introduced in 1987 on the right-hand side and have been on that side since?

If you are asking about production CR125 or CR250, it never was. The last year any CR had right side drive
was '83 and the bikes were equipped with rear drum brakes until '86. The '87s were the first production CRs
with a rear disc brake and it was mounted on the right side and it stayed there up until the last CRs rolled off
the assembly line.

Thank you for the answers. There was no trick question involved. I'm working on a project that requires a left side disc brake and had been told to check out Hondas. Have since found out KTM used a left side disc '86 to '89 and now looking for those parts. Always a challenge.
