I bought these for my xl500 dont know that they will work but I have xr500 forks on it know and these are supposed to fit the xr500 so fingers crossed. Fork oil capacity for the '79 CR250 is: 205 cc (6.9 oz)/ per leg at draining 275 cc (9.3 oz)/ per leg at dry assembly Honda recommends 5W fork oil I recommend you install a set of boots before riding. The seals are not protected at all without them. dogger |
