Out of curiousity, are you talking about a stock muffler?? Seems like most people don't want a stock muffler on the '75-'76 CRs. Would be a difficult task to reproduce.

Yep, looking for stock as I'm doing a resto versus using it for competition. Having said that, what do people use on this bike for aftermarket muffler and rear shocks?

i adapted a conventional silencer to mine.it works quite well.

You can usually pick one of the orginal 75-76 mufflers like new real cheap on the online auction site

Stockers do show up on auction, seen several over the years.

I've been using a Supertrap clamp on since 77(?). performs WAAAYYYY better than the stock anchor did. the one with the round stainless discs. I think you can still get those!
