Ok so I got my new 5w fork oil today and tonight when I was going to fill the forks I pulled the caps off both of them and the front end of the bike dropped down and I'm assuming bottomed out, and now it is stuck. How do I get the front end to come back up? Do I have to pull the forks off or what shopuld I do? |

Lack of spark can come from a number of different things. Assuming you've tried a new spark plug, it could be either the a) the CDI, b) the stator, c) the ignition coil, or d) incorrect, or faulty wiring or wires. You can test a few of the components with an simple ohmmeter if you know basic electricity. The ignition coil, and the coils in the stator can each be tested with an ohmeter if you know which wires to test and what readings you are supposed to get. Usually if any of them are bad, you will read an open circuit instead of a resistance reading. If the coil and the stator test good, then the problem is probably the CDI or the wiring. Bob |

Put the bike on a stand and get the weight off of the front wheel. Pull the fork tubes completely to the upright position. As a rule of thumb, if you change the fork oil with the tubes still on the bike, add the new oil to one tube at a time, with the cap left on the opposing tube. Also have the bike on a stand, to keep the weight off of the front wheel. |
