I'm looking for a new petcock "clock" seal.. The one that has 4 holes and seals the valve lever to the petcock body.. I would imagine that there is a replacement available (even if it is sold as a part for another make/model).. Can anyone help me? I have searched the forum to no avail... Thanks, Jeff |

Jeff, Honda P/N 16957-ZE1-812 is still available (about $3), and I also found P/N 16955-028-004 which may be discontinued. As you know, the '78 CR250 parts diagram only shows a complete petcock assembly, so I really don't know what's inside it. The P/N's above match your description, though, and they fit a gazillion Honda models (including the '75-'77 MR175's, which is what I got mine for). Ray |

http://www.crc2onlinecatalog.com/petcock_rebuild.htm That's the place I found a petcock gasket for my 74 Elsinore. They have tons of these petcock gaskets for all sorts of bikes. Enjoy, Jon |
