Vintage Dirt Bike Q & A

I have acquired a '86 & a '88 CR250. Both need serious top end work. Can anybody tell me if cylinders off of any other years fit these bikes without too many modifications?

Also, is there a good forum (like this one) for these mid to late 80's machines?

You'll get some crap for not having the bigger bike, but there are folks there that now what fits with what.

It looks like the '86, '87, and '88 CR250 cylinders have the same main part number, with different suffixes. Other years may fit as well, I really don't know.
