I have acquired a '86 & a '88 CR250. Both need serious top end work. Can anybody tell me if cylinders off of any other years fit these bikes without too many modifications? Also, is there a good forum (like this one) for these mid to late 80's machines? Thanks in advance! Stan WV |

http://www.bannedcr500riders.com You'll get some crap for not having the bigger bike, but there are folks there that now what fits with what. |

It looks like the '86, '87, and '88 CR250 cylinders have the same main part number, with different suffixes. Other years may fit as well, I really don't know. Ray. |
