75 Cr125M, When they were produced did they come out with chain guard covering the engine drive sprocket? Ever picture I look at the guard only covers the magnito, and yet in spare parts they sell a guard that covers the whole drive sprocket.
Does anyone know which is the original? Have pulled the guard off and checked to see if the chain had smashed it but I couldn't tell.

Here is what the ignition cover is supposed to look like. It does extend to cover the
CS sprocket. A lot of the covers are missing that portion because of thrown chains
over the years. The chain would jam up into the area between the cover and case
and most of the time the cover would lose. Sometimes the cover, the case and
the shifter would lose.

A lot of people just ground away the jagged edges from the busted cover and left
the CS exposed.
