Vintage Dirt Bike Q & A

Just thought I would post up a few pictures of my 1983 CR60R. It still needs some work and prettying up but it runs and rides. I've put a new clutch cable, levers and perches on it, new front brake cable and shoes, grips and redone the number plate backgrounds in blue. I've also put on a new chain and sprockets in stock gearing. I've also put on a new set of Kenda millville k771 tires. The front is oriented for intermediate terrain while the rear is turned around for soft. I've also filled them full of pro gold ice screws so I can get a riding fix during the long Vermont winters.

Is this bike still considered an elsinore?







This is what it looked like when I bought it. It didn't have a rear wheel but I found the a rear wheel from a CRF/XR70 worked in combination with the spacer for the CR60R.




Someday I hope to have it look half as nice as some of the bikes I've seen you guys post up, but for now I'm just going to ride it some and have fun.
