I'd like to know how to get hold of him as well. He's got a 250 Elsinore of mine, and I'm trying to get it back.
Brooks was in Ventura until six or eight months ago, when he moved back to his home in the Valencia area. His website and phone number are disconnected, and when he called me a few months ago and left a message, he didn't leave a return #, and his phone # was blocked so my cel wouldn't register it. We were going to do an Elsinore restoration piece for the magazine, but it dragged on and on and now I just want the bike back.
Anyone got info?
BTW, I'm relaunching Motorcycle Retro magazine from the ashes of Motorcyclist Retro, the magazine I started last year with Source Interlink Media, which they put on the back burner last December. Instead of newsstand distribution, we're offering subscriptions asap at
http://www.motorcycleretro.com. We're covering dirt and street from '65 to '85, and minis, too. Hope some of you will take a look. Questions or comments, ping me at
mailto:mcretro@cox.net.
Thanks much!
