Gentlemen:

What happened to Elsinores.com? I was interested in contacting Donnie for parts.

I'd like to know how to get hold of him as well. He's got a 250 Elsinore of mine, and I'm trying to get it back.

Brooks was in Ventura until six or eight months ago, when he moved back to his home in the Valencia area. His website and phone number are disconnected, and when he called me a few months ago and left a message, he didn't leave a return #, and his phone # was blocked so my cel wouldn't register it. We were going to do an Elsinore restoration piece for the magazine, but it dragged on and on and now I just want the bike back.

Anyone got info?

BTW, I'm relaunching Motorcycle Retro magazine from the ashes of Motorcyclist Retro, the magazine I started last year with Source Interlink Media, which they put on the back burner last December. Instead of newsstand distribution, we're offering subscriptions asap at http://www.motorcycleretro.com. We're covering dirt and street from '65 to '85, and minis, too. Hope some of you will take a look. Questions or comments, ping me at mailto:mcretro@cox.net.

Thanks much!

Good luck getting anything back from those guys. I dealt with them a couple of years ago (before the bad economy) and had a helluva time getting my parts back.. Don always seemed liked a good guy when you talk to him on the phone about potential business but once they had your parts or money you could never get in touch with them! They would never answer the phone or email! It happend twice, same deal both times. I almost had to send a big friend of mine from down there to go in and liberate my parts!!!
