I am new to this forum. I just was given a MR175 1975. (Green and Silver) only 975 miles and its original except for somebody adding a keyed switch and tail lights. The seat, tank and frame are worn but none for the worse. Its really in great shape! OKay I am 52 and I rode a 125 way back in 1972 through 1978. You kids have nothing on me as I did back flips back then when I jumped the creek beds. I just did them by surprise. .....yep I crashed. Anyway, I will need some help with this project. Especially with getting igniton parts and fuel parts. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance |

Welcome! There's quite a few MR guys here, including myself. Once you get them dialed in, they make great dual-purpose bikes - and if you want to go further than that, the 175 motor can make some serious power. My bike had a heavily rusted tank and a double-sparking ignition when I got it, among many other problems (I bought it for parts) but it runs great now. Parts can be a challenge if you need them fast, but everything comes up for sale on eBay eventually. Ray |
