I am in need of bearings, seals, gaskets, pistons, and rings for both a 1974 CR250m and 1977 CR125. Does anyone know of a relaible place to get these parts? I live in Southern California. Thanks, Jim |

you can get most engine parts on ebay and http://www.mossbargerracing.com/ does a bolt on reed valve with no mods I've got one on mine and it makes it quicker out of the corners , I didn't think it improved anything else though , but I wouldn't go back to piston port because of bogging down and running on |

Living in SoCal, you are in a parts rich environment. Like Showtime said, Bike Bandit (San Diego) can help with a lot. They have the seals, gaskets and most of the bearings. For crank bearings, I recommend Wiseco. They offer a kit that contains two crank bearings that are the same as the OE bearings for much less money. The problem is the clutch actuator bearing, it is NLA. If you have the original, you can take it to a bearing supply and see if they can match it. For the piston and rings, I would go with Wiseco again. Their kit comes with the piston, rings, wristpin and circlips and is available in most sizes. You can pick this up at Chaparral in San Bernardino. I strongly recommend you stick with either Japanese or American made bearings and Honda seals. They will provide you with an airtight durable engine. I don't know how much these sources will help you with your tiddler. dogger |
