Post subject: | side panel rubber |
I am finishing up my '79 resto and ran into another snag. I was mounting the rubber insulators on the new side panel and one of them fell apart. I guess all the years of heat and ozone took their toll. I would like to replace both of these pieces but as usual they are NLA. I placed a want add on the swap meet. Just in case, does anyone know of a suitable alternative? My only other alternative is taking my remaining good one to a shop that can reproduce it. I'm sure that will be big $$$. Any help or ideas is appreciated. dogger |

Dogger, I have at least one, and maybe more. I've appreciated the effort you've put into that bike, and I'm sure we can work something out. Shoot me an email at mailto:ftemoto@gmail.com. Michael (edit: got home, have one NOS and two missing the press fit knobby bit, which sounds like your problem). |
