Does anyone have a good source for 1975 cr125M1 swingarm bushings? Or can someone provide me with the dimensions of a new one so I can have a set made?

Mark,

AMS Racing has them, I believe:

You'll probably have to call them: (480) 610-4574. All the CR125M's ('74 - '78) use the same swingarm bushings, although the swingarms differ.

These metal bushings are supposed to be installed into the swingarm using a shop press. I put mine in a long time ago by carefully tapping them in with a hammer and wood block, and sure enough, they deformed slightly and I had to file/sand the insides slightly to allow the spacer to go in.

Just a quick note: when I pulled my CR's swingarm apart last year, I noticed a fair amount of galling and scrape marks on both the bronze bushings and center spacer, despite my regular pressure-greasing of the swingarm. My MR uses the same bushings, and I think I'll be replacing them shortly with the OEM Delrin bushings (still available from Honda, P/N 52109-360-310), for what that's worth. Delrin is self-lubricating in the spots that grease inevitably doesn't reach, it flexes slightly to allow grease to migrate around the bushings, and with the limited riding I do they'll probably last as long as I own the bike.

Mark,

You may have already sourced those bushings. If not, let me know. I have a set of bronze ones I've never used.
