Post subject:  Yet another corrosion thread....

I'm sure everyone is getting tired of seeing these threads however I am having difficulty finding one that describes HOW to fix this issue. I have a 86' CR125 with a corroded clutch cover, i undertand this can be patched up with some Devcon putty or JBweld or similar products but how? How will i keep the seat for the seal(directly behind impeller)uniform enough to seal? Or should i put the seal in and then putty around it? Any suggestions here or can someone redirect me to another thread.
How did YOU fix it? Tell me your stories of success and/or failure.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Anyone heard of or used this product? http://www.nlsproducts.ca/techsteel/tech_steel_e.html
Where i am located in Ontario finding this devcon product is quite difficult, its coming down to this tech steel product of JBWeld.

Noone?? Any hints or tips?? I have it all cleaned up (or as good as it i going to get as it appears someone has made a poor effort and failed at doing this once before) and am now pondering how i can build up on this metal and still get a uniform seal on the outisde seal......ANY help would be appreciated...thanks.
